We had a great joint meeting with the Hesperian Chapter!
We ask people to come by 1:45 to get in line on the WEST side of the community so if you plug in 2445 S Quebec St it will take you to the west side of the original building. The residents will be out in front on the EAST side of the new building. We do 2 laps so you can pass through the independent patio homes so they can see you all too! I know that the residents would love to also see you at the end with your motorcycles to visit. I attached a map.If the horses do come and who knows please keep your distance…
Our August meeting starts with a ride to Cripple Creek for a rally leaving Denver on Saturday August 20th. Meeting point will be at the Phillips 66 off C470 and Morrison Rd at 8:45am with kickstands up at 9am. This will be a joint meeting with our Southern Wayfarer Chapter and will be held at the Cripple Creek Elks Lodge when we arrive.
I regret to inform you that our regular meeting place, Davies #2, has closed, permanently. We have been discussing moving the meeting to a weekday evening and this is forcing us to make the move. Our regular meeting for this month will be Thursday, August 19, at the Looking Good Restaurant and Lounge. The address for the restaurant is 66 Sheridan Blvd., or it’s on the SE corner of First and Sheridan. Dinner is at 6:00 PM, meeting will start at 7:00 pm. We will eat in the restaurant and then go upstairs to the meeting room for the meeting. There is no food allowed in the meeting room, beverages only. They close at 8:00 pm so we have to be timely and succinct with the meeting.
Please try to make it for fellowship and dinner as the meeting room costs nothing if we eat our meal in the restaurant. If the majority of attendees do not eat, the room costs $300.00 per hour.
We’ll give this a shot for this month and see how it works out. If it works well, we’ll do it again, if not, we’ll try something else. Hopefully, some of you who work Saturdays will be able to attend, it would be good to see you again.

We’ll meet at the Golden Lodge on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 9:00 AM. KSU at 9:30. We’ll take the route we used for the Run for the Gap ride. It’s a good ride and lasts a few hours and there are a couple of fuel stops along the way where we can stop for refreshment and restroom as needed.
The Biker Down 2020 Look Twice Save a Life – Awareness Ride has been rescheduled for June 14th!
Our regular meeting for the month of March would have been this coming Saturday March 21 at the usual place and time. In light of the ongoing public health crisis, the fact that many of our brothers are in the high risk category, and considering we have no critical business to take care of, I’m thinking that this meeting in an unnecessary risk; therefore, the meeting for March is cancelled. We’ll try again in April. In the meantime, stay healthy, ride safe.
There will be no meeting held in December. Happy Holidays and see you on the Toy Run or if not, in 2020!
The Colorado Grand Chapter will be supporting the 2019 MC-1 Honor Run.
